Spirited Designs can offer various model options for the Spirited 380: sport, cruising and charter as well as CE Certification for the European market. Through the combination of quick-build assembly, latest advanced materials and modern, attractive lines, the Spirited 380 is a breakthrough in modern production boats and proves there is a fine art to producing a classic!

Design Brief

The Spirited 380 is a good balance of fresh modern styling, excellent sailing performance and a generous amount of internal volume for a good functional layout. Built using lightweight materials will help to reduce bridgedeck slamming and improve motion at sea, the boat will lift easily over waves without that sluggish momentum often experienced on heavy cats. The size and weight of this design is ideally suited to short-handed crew.

Access from the dock is through open deck level walk-through transoms stepping onto uncluttered aft steps. These steps are close to the water and flow onto the aft swimming platform which runs across between these areas. The cockpit is open plan and easy to traverse incorporating a wide radial aft seat across the back. The extended cabintop provides good coverage over the cockpit and enhances the indoor/outdoor environment.

Social Focus

The aft bulkhead is open with a large doorway and windows so that vision is good into the saloon. The saloon is spacious with the galley opposite. This creates a very social atmosphere with the cook being central to the saloon and cockpit.

Down Below

The accommodation in the hulls is generous with two queen sized cabins forward, one with an ensuite and the other with a walk-in-wardrobe. The bunk area in these cabins is particularly spacious with more than enough head height for sitting up in bed. Aft there is a private double cabin to Starboard and a head with separate shower opposite.

Decks

On deck the walking areas are all flat and open beginning with the side decks which area wide and offer good safety. The foredecks are level with the tramps and again are open and uncluttered. To work at the base of the mast the footing is flat and secure.

Easy Build

The Spirited 380 has been designed very much with the build method and material in mind. The clever moulded sections fit together with flat panel composite panels to create a seamless stylish vessel.

Since the initial release of this design in 2006 more moulded parts and options have been added to this to result in one of the most comprehensive kit packages on the market.
