The Synergy 38 is a versatile design suited to a variety of different material options. The kits can be supplied in Gaboon plywood, Duflex panels or plain foam cores. Another unique option is to combine different materials to create the 'Synergized' kit package. This way the material is chosen where best suited in the structure. With so many options the builder can vary materials during the course of the project according to price or availability. The design lends itself to easy and quick assembly with simple flat surfaces. The kit can include the moulded hulls or these can be strip-planked by the builder. Apart fro these sections the rest of the design is flat panel construction simplifying fairing and finishing.

Easy set-up The hulls are set up in their cradles and the bulkheads are installed. In line with the SAS system the assembly is quick and free-flowing. The hull sides are best left off until the internal fit-out is complete for open airy conditions. With no curved decks the gunwale edges are easy to build and finish as are the flat sunken decks. The cabintop is made from flat panels and avoids complex shapes.

More Cutting The flat decks are supplied with computer-cut hatch openings to any preferred brand and also the daggerboard cases for accurate fitment. All locker doors are computer-cut to save the builder more time.

Modular Process Many sections of the boat are built in modules which are assembled in position on board but are removed for easy finishing on the workshop floor. The ease that this provides saves a significant amount of time and effort for the builder. 

Material Options These kits are available in Duflex balsa or foam core, plain foam and Gaboon plywood or a combination.
